Sweepstakes Rules and Regulations
Eligibility- No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The
sweepstakes is open only to legal United States residents over
the age of 18. Employees and other representatives of Quorum
Hotels and Resorts, its affiliates, and advisors (and the immediate
family members of each of them) are not eligible to win. All
applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Offer void where prohibited. The Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa can
accept only those entries that are completed and submitted
in the format designated on the website.
Sponsor- Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa at 1011 West Holmes Avenue,
Mesa, AZ 85210-4923
Entries and Sweepstakes Period- To enter to win the Prize (as
defined below), the entry form from the website must be completed
and submitted electronically in it’s entirety between
12:01 a.m. MST April 14, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. MTN April 21,
2008 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Only one entry
per person is allowed.
The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa - is not liable or responsible
for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled, postage due, distorted,
or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic,
hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer communications-related
malfunctions or failures; (c) any Sweepstakes disruptions,
injuries, losses, or damages caused by events beyond the control
of The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa; or (d) any printing or typographical
errors in any materials associated with this Sweepstakes.
Prizes- The prize will consist XXX. Hotel stay will be
honored on a space availability basis and may be subject to
blackout dates. The odds of winning the Prize depend on the
number of eligible entries. Prize is not transferable, and
no substitutions (including cash) will be permitted, except
that The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa may substitute a Prize of
equal or greater value for the Prize.
Selection of Winners- A winner will be determined by a random
drawing to be held at The Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa office on
or about April 25, 2008. In the event of any dispute,
all eligible entries will be deemed to have been submitted
by the group decision maker. All entries and materials submitted
to The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa in connection with the Sweepstakes
(collectively, “Entry Materials”), along with all
associated copyright and other proprietary rights, become the
property of The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa upon submission,
and Entry Materials will not be returned to any entrant. Entrants
agree to take any further action (including, without limitation,
execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested
by The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa to effect, perfect, or confirm
The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa ownership in the Entry Materials
and any associated proprietary rights.
Notification of the Winners- The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa
will attempt to notify selected winner by e-mail on or about
the next day after the Drawing. The prizewinner will have seven
(7) days from notification to respond to the e-mail. If the
selected winner is unreachable or ineligible, fails to respond
to the notification as provided above, or fails to claim the
Prize in the manner prescribed in the winner notification,
the winner will forfeit his or her Prize and a new winner will
be selected.
General Release- By entering the Sweepstakes, you release The
Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa, Quorum Hotels & Resorts and
each of directors, officers, employees, representatives, and
agencies, from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs,
injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or
in connection with the Sweepstakes or with the acceptance,
possession, or use of any Prize (including, without limitation,
claims, costs, injuries, and losses related to personal injuries,
death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity
or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light). By
accepting any Prize, entrants consent to the use of their name,
address, likeness, and/or Prize information for promotional
and other purposes without further compensation, except where
prohibited by law. In addition, entrants consent to being placed
on The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa and Quorum Hotels & Resorts
mailing and e-mail lists, unless prohibited by law, consent
to the use of his or her name, address, likeness, and/or prize
information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without
further permission or compensation.
Winner List and Official Rules- To obtain the name of the winner,
send a request (along with a self addressed, stamped envelope)
to The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa , Attn: XXX Sweepstakes 321
17th St., Denver, Colorado, 80202. Winning requests must be
received within 60 days of the termination of the Sweepstakes
Period.
Miscellaneous- The sponsor of the Sweepstakes is The Hilton Phoenix
East/ Mesa, 1011 West Holmes Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85210-4923. The
Sweepstakes and all accompanying materials are copyright © 2008
by The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa. All rights reserved. Entrants
agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions
of The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa, which are final and binding
in all respects. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable
law, The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa reserves the right to change
these rules or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time, at its sole
discretion. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper
with the operation of the Sweepstakes, or engage in any conduct
that is detrimental or unfair to The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa,
the Sweepstakes, or any other entrant (in each case, as determined
by The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa Hotel’s sole discretion)
are subject to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes.
The Hilton Phoenix East/ Mesa reserves the right to lock out persons
whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified
or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes. If
